Zurich Classic of New Orleans Field is Finalized

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is almost here. Zurich Classic week starts Monday and with that, the deadline for players to enter was yesterday, Friday, evening at 5 PM ET.

This year looks to be another great year with some top players and fan favorites filling out the field. Both of this year's Ryder Cup captains, Zach Johnson (USA) and Luke Donald (Europe) will be in the field. Johnson will be playing with fan favorite Steve Stricker while Donald will be playing with Edoardo Molinari.

Reigning Champions Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay will be returning as will Sam Burns with partner Billy Horschel, Colin Morikawa with Max Homa, and reigning U.S. Open Champion Mathew Fitzpatrick playing with Alex Fitzpatrick. Rounding out the list of fan favorites is John Daly and David Duval. There is more stat power to watch and this year has some big hitters and some players that are making a name for themselves.

See the Full field on the PGA Tour or Zurich Classic website.

As always there will be some of the best food from New Orleans and possibly the best of any PGA Tour stop at the tournament. If you want to experience the Best of the Zurich Classic tickets may still be available and you can enjoy food and beverages at various locations around the golf course. The Best of the Zurich Classic tickets include the Fidelity Fairway Clubs on the 17th and 18th holes.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is one of the oldest professional golf events around and one that many players love to come to. This should be another successful week for great golf and a great party. Also, another success for the Fore Kids Foundation goes a long way toward their charitable efforts of helping kids through golf.

If you can't make it this year be sure and follow the action on the PGA Tour website or download the PGA Tour App.
