Before my trip to Orlando for lots of golf, I bought 2 pairs of golf socks. One pair of low-cut socks in case the weather was warm and another pair of longer crew socks in case it was a bit chilly. Both pairs are made by Footjoy and ordered from Worldwide Golf Shops.
I played 36-holes Monday at the beautiful Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. A property I highly recommend as a must-play if you are in the Orlando area. With two 18-holes courses, a 9-hole course, a huge 360-degree circular driving range, and short game areas, Orange County National is also home to the Korn Ferry Tour's Q-School and PGA Merchandise Show Demo Day.
I knew going into the day the plan was to play 36-holes. This made it a perfect day to test out my new socks. As the temperatures were in the mid to high 70's I wore the FootJoy Men's TechSof Tour Low Cut Socks, possibly the most comfortable golf socks I have ever worn. The socks are super soft, cushioned and yet they are still breathable so your feet don't sweat. The socks were so comfortable they felt like extra padding under my feet. Throughout the day from 5 AM to 10 PM, they felt the exact same all day. The TechSof Tour Low Cut Socks also come in black if you'd prefer those.
The FootJoy Men's TechSof Tour Crew Socks are the exact same as the low cut. I wore them yesterday while running errands and attending a meeting. The best thing about the crew socks, even though they are actually sports socks, is they look like dress socks. At least the black does but they come in white, navy, and grey as well.
One of the coolest things, that actually confused me at first, is each sock says left and right on them. At first, I was thinking why would it matter or why would they have to tell people which foot to wear each sock on. The reason for this? Each sock is contoured for each foot to maximize comfort. I'd have to try them the opposite but I feel like that is one of the reasons these socks are so comfortable.
I highly recommend any golfer give these socks a try. Even if you don't play golf and just want comfortable socks, give these a try.
